Setting a WordPress website to private

In WordPress, you can easily set a private status to different posts or the whole blog.

You can set a post or your entire blog to private in WordPress. Go to your admin area and click Settings – Reading. Site Visibility Options allows to configure your site for complete privacy or search engine visibility. Select I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose for a private blog. Only invited viewers will be able to access your blog.
